exceptions report
WHAT IT IS

Exceptions reports are designed to help research inventory and associate activities such as voided sales, deleted inventory, inventory with cost changes, and customer-returned items.

WHAT IT DOES

The Voided Sales report provides a list of voided transactions along with information such as the original sale date, who performed the void (associate), and where (workstation ID and store number).

HOW IT WORKS

To run the Voided Sales report, navigate to Reports → Management Reports → Exceptions→ Voided Sales. The filter will appear.
As with other reports, the Voided Sales report can be grouped multiple ways using the Group/Sort by... window. Decide which information field is displayed first by checking the box for your choice, then clicking and dragging to the top of the list.
Data fields in the Voided Sales report include:
  • Sale #: The transaction number of the original sale that was voided.
  • Customer: The customer involved in the transaction that was voided.
  • Sales Date: The date of the original transaction that was voided.
  • Void Date: The date the transaction was voided.
  • Associate: The associate who made the void.
  • Station Voided: The station at which the void was made.
  • Voided Store: The store at which the void was made.
Once you've made all your selections, click OK to run your report.
