WHAT IT IS
The Description Generator works in conjunction with the Description Templates feature.
WHAT IT DOES
Description Templates can be designed for Item Description, Web Title, Web Description, and Item Appraisals (see last week’s Feature of the Week). Once templates are set up, the Description Generator can be used to apply your template to many items at once.
HOW IT WORKS
To use the Description Generator to apply Description Templates:

Click Inventory → Utilities → Description Generator.

Choose which templates you wish to apply, then click Next.

Use the Item Filter drop-down at the top to specify criteria for items you want templates applied to, then click the Search button. A list of matching items will display.

Check the items that you want templates applied to, then click Next.

The Wizard will now display any items you have selected that are missing one or more of your selected templates.
If items are appearing here you should review their category set up to verify your templates are set up properly. Ideally, no items should appear in this list.

Click Next. The templates will now be applied.
